St. Francis de Asis Church, Ranchos De Taos

Today we're going to Taos, New Mexico to visit a famous and beautiful church.

I love how the mission style churches here have a simple elegance and beauty.
This one is particularly graceful.
This church was painted by Georgia O'Keefe, a famous American artist, in 1929. I don't know a lot about Georgia O'Keefe but her art is fascinating and I think I may have to find out more about her.
Here's her painting.

Next trip to New Mexico I am going to go to the Georgia O'Keefe museum in Santa Fe.
Only so much time and so much to see and do that you can't do it all on the first trip.
Here's a few more photos.

You can't any indoor photos but there are lots of beautiful outside shots.

Didn't tweak this photo yet, but love the lines.

Here's another untouched photo.

So highly recommend you stop by here and check it out since it is not only famous, but a working mission so uniquely southwestern.
Thanks for stopping by!
