Today is T Day

Today my "tea" is the great teapot flower arrangement. I would never think to do this, but the woman who runs the doggie daycare the dogs go to a few days a week is really into gardening and has some of the most clever garden decorations.
This is the first time I noticed this one, so it might be new, but I love it. Now she just needs a big cup of flowers too.
I must admit I am going to be a copy cat on this one and am on the lookout for a big old teapot to use in my own garden.
And this past weekend I did a little baking.
This cake was supposed to be baked in an angel food pan, and according the recipe the chocolate part was suppose to go into the middle with the white cake surrounding it.  But I chose to bake it in this beautiful bundt pan, and I guess the shape of the pan didn't allow the batter to move like it was suppose to. But I will say, it tastes yummy.  Its a chocolate and vanilla malted milk pound cake.
Now I just need a big cup of tea to go with this.
(Or a big glass of milk would do too.)
Have a great T day everyone.

This is SO clever. I can't believe some of the things you come up with and I love this teapot. So what if it's at the Doggie Day Care, you are the one who took the photo and shared it with us. I adore it.

Oh, Erika, please save me a piece of your cake. Is there anything you can't do???

Thanks for sharing this wonderful flower teapot with us for T this soon-to-be Tuesday,

What a lovely garden deco.. my best friend Herta has similar ideas in her garden... not what I would do in my garden but I like it very much with how much love people decorate their houses and gardens - Herta is a deco queen in her house as well..and does it with so much love...I am much to lazy to decorate the house .... we are all so different...
Your we call it "Marmorkuchen"-Marble Cake -- looks fantastic -o.k. the ingredients are so much richer and yummier than in my Marmorkuchen- yours looks really fluffy - my hubby would die for it.
Happy T-Day dear Erika!

Wow! That cake looks amazing! It came out of the tine perfectly. We don't have the sprays that you seem to use in the US and have to use soft butter to grease the tin. Mine never come out perfect... Well done you.
I was so excited you added the recipe, but unfortunately I have never heard of malted milk powder and chocolate syrup. I could improvise, but I believe it is in the chemistry of those ingredients that makes the 'magic' work.
The old kettle looks really nice with flowers in it. You can use all sorts os things to put flowers in. Just have a look in any junk yard and think flowers.
Thanks for sharing that and also for visiting me already.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Hi Erika - me again..
Sorry that I am not a good photographer of nature...
the blossoms of the peonies look more white on this photo , think it is the sunlight.. they are a bit more pink in real... I am quite happy with them- hope yours will bloom soon - you will for sure have much better and artsy photos of yours.

Love the teapot flowerpot. I have a couple of old teapots that I plant in sometimes but haven't in a couple of years. I saw them in the shed this weekend and thought I should pull at least one out and plant it. Now I will absolutely have too :) That cake looks marvelous !!! I would bake one but we just found out the husband is diabetic so I'll have to pass for a while anyhow . Maybe for something special. Thanks for sharing! ♥
